Volunteer Management
_ Objective: Train residents in all aspects of volunteer management.
1. Participate in recruitment calls for ministry area.
2. Participate in relationship building exercises with prospective volunteers with the idea of moving them to serving in a ministry.
3. Debrief with a ministry leader and a model volunteer after a weekend service. Ask clarifying and reflective questions related to their experience of serving within their respective areas.
4. Participate in 3 different ministry's training programs.
5. Make follow-up phone calls for 3 ministry areas to support the maintenance of weekly volunteer schedules.
6. Observe how a ministry evaluates and identifies the "right fit" of volunteers for their respective area and how they have conversations to dismiss or relocate volunteers to another area.
7. Help plan and execute the annual Volunteer Appreciation weekend activities.
8.Visit a church weekend service, other than CCV, and evaluate their effectiveness with volunteerism by debriefing with Leadership Institute staff.
